All Windows 11 insiders in the Dev or Canary channel will receive it now new features for the popular snipping tool, and the Phone Link tool will also be updated for all insiders. The new version of the Snipping Tool (11.2308.33.0) allows detecting and copying text elements in captured screenshots. This can then easily be reinserted into other apps or the like. You can use the toolbar to select an option that automatically detects and censors email addresses or telephone numbers. Additional text elements can then be selected manually and also made unrecognizable. The current version of Phone Link also has a new function that allows photos from Android smartphones to be accessed and edited using the Snipping Tool on the PC.
