Now tasks such as renewing our digital certificate or driving license can be managed from the iPhone, either from applications or from the web. So let’s see how we can easily solve these tasks with the device that we always carry with us.
Renew your driver’s license with the iPhone
The ideal would be to be able to renew your driving license with a few minutes from your iPhone, but being in person here is mandatory since you have to pass a psychotechnical test to verify that you are still fit to get behind the wheel. But even so, there have been advances: now you can have your driver’s license officially and legally on your iPhone with the myDGT application for iOS.
You can download miDGT for free in the App Store, and from there you can also receive notifications when your driving license is about to expire. The Spanish administration has made available to everyone (hallelujah) an iOS application that you can download free from the App Store with which to request the digital certificate of the FNMT. If you want to do everything from the application you can buy an ID via videoconference for 2.99 euros plus VATbut you can save them by asking for an appointment to confirm your identity in an office.
This app is the most convenient way to get the certificate and install it on your iPhone without hassle, and saves you from dealing with more complicated configurations that you would otherwise have to do on your Mac.
Renew the demand for employment
If you are actively looking for work, remember that you must renew the demand for employment every quarter. From the iPhone you can do it from the website of the Public Employment Services, but there are autonomous communities that also have their own applications to achieve it. It depends on each one of them, although you have the example of the application available in Navarre.
Renew the DNI or Passport
For the end we leave the most common procedure of all, since all citizens must have our identity card and our passport up to date. Here there is no application that is worth at the moment: you have to access from the iPhone to the National Police website to request the corresponding appointment.
