A smaller model, the Legion Go Lite, and a revision of the current version, the Legion Go Gen Two are on the program.
The work after the draft?
Like many other brands, Lenovo hopes to take advantage of the return to favor of portable consoles: the company markets its Legion Go for several months. This model did not particularly convince us: we gave it a score of 3 out of 5. But in the same way as Asus which has erased several errors of the original model with its ROG Ally XLenovo could rectify its copy with a second, more successful version; and according to data retrieved from the brand’s own website, a Legion Go Gen Two seems to be in the cards.
The mention of this console appears explicitly on the brand’s website. The screenshot below is from the site VideoCardz. We were unable to find this information on the Lenovo website. Perhaps this is the result of a recent change to the page; unfortunately, it was not previously archived. That said, VideoCardz is of course a reliable source.
You will have noticed that the Lenovo Legion Gen Two is not the only intruder. At his side, we find a Legion Go Lite. This version was leaked a few hours ago; leak originating from two images provided by NITTRX.
Lenovo Lite / Gen Two: two consoles with very different aims
There is no technical information for these two consoles at the moment. The designations are nevertheless sufficiently explicit as to their nature. The Legion Go Lite presents itself as a lighter model of the Legion Go (smaller screen, and apparently more detachable joysticks). In addition, this machine would make do with a Ryzen Z1.
Gen Two should instead follow in the footsteps of Gen One. We can consider using more powerful components, and in particular a Ryzen Z2, a range of AMD APUs which we spoke to you about very recently.
