Google’s threat monitoring team TAG has reported that North Korean government-backed attackers are conducting zero-day attacks targeting security researchers. They approach researchers on platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), and once they establish a relationship of trust, they move to E2EE such as Signal and send files.
