- The development team behind the open-source front-end framework Svelte introduced an innovation, which will appear in a similar form with the upcoming 5 series release: so-called runes influence the Svelte compiler. While Svelte so far, among other things

$:-Label uses to denote certain things, runes use functional syntax to achieve the same or more. In order to declare a reactive state, it will apparently be possible in the future
- KDAB has that Version 3.0.0 of GammaRay published. The software introspection tool for Qt applications now also supports Qt 6 and now includes, among other things, an option that allows the HTTP response body to be captured during network operation.
- Kong Insomnia is now 12 months in development the release 8.0 reached. According to the development team, this new version of the API designer was built from scratch. In addition to the introduction of real-time collaboration, new features include support for “Organizations” and Enterprise SSO, a new AI testing function, support for SSE APIs and scratch pad mode.
- The development environment IntelliJ IDEA is now available as version 2023.3 in the early bird program (early access program). The innovations particularly concern Java 21, GitLab snippets, improvements to the user interface and the integration of shared JDK indexes.
- Amazon also offers Bedrock a full managed service for large language models (foundation models) of artificial intelligence. Available are AI21 Labs, Amazon, Anthropic, Cohere, Meta and Stability. AI. Llama 2 is available in finely tuned 13B and 70B parameter versions.
- The analysis company Sisense has one Compose SDK released, allowing developers to embed context-sensitive data analysis capabilities into Fusion applications. Although Fusion is low-code, the SDK is aimed at pro-code programmers.
- MongoDB has a number of new features for building software locally in public preview with MongoDB Atlas published. Developers should now be able to develop Atlas deployments locally with MongoDB – including Atlas Search and Vector Search – using the Atlas CLI and thus create full-text search or AI-powered applications.
